Our counsellors view every relationship that we experience in our lifetime as never having been done before, and therefore presenting particular strengths and struggles that may at times seem unpredictable. We understand that additional stressors may exist within certain relationships for folks who are marginalized, including two-spirit, lesbian, gay, queer, intersex, transgender, and non-binary people. Stressors may be further compounded for folks who experience layers of marginalization and barriers to supportive resources due to and not limited to race, class, age, physical or mental abilities, ethnic and cultural background, and socio-economic status.
Our therapists help you to explore the systems around you, how you experience yourselves in relationship, and how to identify the roots of some of your dynamics, reactions and challenges in communication. Our therapists are able to help you to find more effective and congruent ways of relating and expressing yourself.
